Minor Disappointment with Heat Resistance

I bought this coconut wood serving bowl from Smaller Footprint because I loved the idea of a sustainable and unique serving dish. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. The bowl is beautiful and well-made, and the spoon and fork are a nice addition. However, I was a little disappointed to learn that it's not heat resistant and cannot be used in the microwave or dishwasher. It's important to note this limitation in the product description, as I almost made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher. Otherwise, it's a great product and I would recommend it with the caveat about heat resistance.
